I loved this heart pounding thriller. The well fleshed out characters are believable and relatable. The plot is realistic and could be pulled from the headlines. The twists and turns kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. The story shows how strong families can be when they stick together. I would highly recommend it. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

At first, I thought it was going to be a love story as that is how it starts out, but the real story soon emerges.
There is a real edge of the seat feel to this book as the suspense grows.
There is a good mixture of characters and I found the descriptions of the people and places helped to bring you into the story too.
I definitely recommend adding this to your must read list.
I received this arc for free and I wanted to leave an honest review.

Fantastic Romantic Suspense

This is the first book in this intriguing series. I loved the prequel and equally loved this book. It wouldn’t be completely necessary to read the prequel first, but I do think it enhances the enjoyment and also the understanding of the relationship backgrounds of the main characters, especially Jack and Haley. My only complaint is ending on a cliffhanger, although since the next book is immediately available, that’s not so bad as it could be. I’m absolutely dying to read the next book; these characters are great and the mystery intense. I highly recommend this book; I was provided a copy, but these opinions are my own.

This build up of the story line and complex characters will pull you right in. The ending is not a cliffhanger. Things are somewhat resolved, but you will want to read the next book which is even more exciting so far than the first. Highly recommended!
