I love this series! This is book 2; I’ve also read the prequel and book 1, but this book can stand alone. I do think it would be best appreciated after reading the prequel and book 1, though. There are a lot of family relationships and friendships that progress, but the fascination for me this time is the excitement of saving Jack and perhaps saving many people from the coming secret pandemic, which in this case seems to be a planned pandemic to bring profit to an especially evil pharmaceutical corporation for which Jack worked. Haley and Jack’s relationship is tested in a way few relationships ever are, but it’s obvious to me that with the help of a lot of people, especially their families, they will be fine. I can’t recommend this series enough if you like romantic suspense. I’m eager to read the next book, but I don’t want to leave these characters! I was provided a copy of this book, but these opinions are my own.

Totally Engrossing

This book is full of suspense. I like the many characters and locations all very busy. All involved with either Jacks disappearance or the Pharma. Murder, break-ins, spying and amnesia. Looking forward to the next book.

The suspense continues in the second book of the series. The family experiences heart break, hope and disappointment as Jack is found alive but is taken away again for his protection. The twists in this story kept me reading long after I should have been asleep. I would highly recommend this exciting series. I received a free copy of this book from the author, and this is my honest review.
