A light romance to read over the weekend. Enjoyed the story line and quick summary in the epilogue of what's to come.

This is the prequel to a new series; it really intrigued me and I can’t wait to read the whole series. It always thrills me to find a new-to-me author whose writing I like. This story is very sweet with a hint of danger. The two main characters are very likable and I especially like that Haley has the profession in which I worked for many years—an RN in a hospital’s obstetrics ward. The details ring pretty true and that enhanced my enjoyment. I’m eager to read the continuation of Haley and Jack’s love story, as well as what sounds like will be a very interesting suspense story regarding bug pharma. I can definitely recommend this quality prequel; I received the book free of charge, but these opinions are my own.

This was a quick read and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The story kept me turning the pages and I liked the way each chapter had a title and not just a number. I am already reading the first book in the series now and it is even better than the novella with a lot more stuff happening to create quite a suspenseful story..I'm glad I read the novella because it provided a great intro of the characters, how they met, and what they have been through. Highly recommend it!

A good insight to the series, I like the clean and fresh way this story unfolds and I really enjoyed the characters too.
I look forward to the rest of the series. This is a new author to me and I really like the storyline.

I just finished this novella and enjoyed it. The pace is fast, the author gives enough background on the characters. The story so far is not bogged down with unnecessary descriptions.
